As many of you know, the planned reforms to Trinity's Greek system have been met with a surge of protest from alumni who do not want to see the statuses of their old fraternities and sororities changed. While they have every right to protest, the incendiary manner in which some have done so has polarized the alumni community and brought bad press to our wonderful school.
While we as a whole do not embrace or denounce any specific aspects of the administration's new social policies, we do believe in supporting the college throughout this turbulent time in its history. Raw hatred toward the administration, and an unwillingness to compromise, is not the answer. If certain alumni want to influence campus policy by not donating, so be it. We stand with Trinity. We will donate.
On June 6th, the first day of Reunion Weekend, members of this group will donate en masse to let the community know that there are alumni who do stand with Trinity. A letter will be sent to the Board of Trustees in advance of this day declaring our determination to support our alma mater in tough times as well as in good. No amount is too small.

This all started with a group of concerned alumni who wanted to rally support for their school. We are unaffiliated with any department of Trinity College. However, because we want to ensure that donors will be confident when contributing on June 6, we have coordinated the online portion of our fundraiser with the College’s Development office. As a result, all donations will follow the same payment gateways and qualify as tax deductible.
